Cricket

4-1-2010 (Monday)

Woke up early again (at 5), but everybody had a good night sleep. Cricket today.

Took the bus to the stadium, great seats at the Don Bradman stand. What a super cricket stadium.
The aussies were not doing well since yesterday and also today was not a great day for them, Pakistan ended the day with a 200 run lead.
Two guys in front of us were very nice and off course they were surprised to see a Dutch family visiting a cricket match.
Zeb and Sharon went to the members area and got some nice goodies. Ruben was not properly dressed.
During the testmatch they run a fundraiser for the fight against breast cancer on behalf of the foundation of former Austarlian fats bowler Glen McGrath, who lost his wife due to breast cancer last year. You could buy pink hats and other stuff. Tomorrow , the 3rd day, spectators has to dress pink. Today already lots of people were wearing pink.

We bought a cool cricket shirt for Zeb, pink cap for Sharon, pink bandana for Sharai and cricket cap for Ruben.

Back in the hotel we went for a swim in the pool. Heading for the restaurant Zeb felt a sleep in the stroller. So we had dinner with the three of us only, at Pompeii around the corner of the hotel.
Sharai got her pink ice-cream, she was longing for the whole day. We went back, Zeb woke up the next morning around 6 as all of us did.
